Vintage SOAP BOX DERBY RACER + Original Helmet + Awards

Sold <<<<<<<    WHAT A SURVIVOR!  Sponsored by the now denfuct Chevrolet dealer that was located at the corner of El Camino Real and Jefferson Avenue in Redwood City.  The second sponsor was Holmquist Hardward, also a long gone business in Redwood City, established in 1895 (old brick building still stands) ..   Driver of this Soap Box Derby racer was Leroy Harabaugh (long standing family in RC).  This example is real old school design with wood strip / plank lumber construction. Amazing barn find in San Mateo County.
