VERY EARLY HOLOSTERIC BAROMETER FROM THE RENOWN 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY COMPANY - LOUIS WEULE - SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA - - WEULE HAS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH FINE NAUTICAL INSTRUMENTS FOR DECADES AND NOT ONLY HAD THEIR NAME ON BAROMETERS BUT ADDITIONAL THEY MARKETED SHIP CLOCKS AND COMPASSES. AT ONE TIME THEY PARNERED WITH CHELSEA CLOCK COMPANY.

THIS FINE EXAMPLE IS MADE IN FRANCE AND IS IN WORKING CONDITION. GLASS FACE IS THREE AND FIVE EIGHTS INCHES IN DIAMETR AND THE OVERALL WIDTH IS SIX AND ONE HALF INCHES.

VERY STURDY SHIP WHEEL DISIGN. COMPENSATING SCREW ON BACK OF HOUSING TO ALLOW PROPER ADJUSTMENT FOR BAROMETRIC PRESSURE.
